What is “clinical follow-up” and how does it work?

Like any treatment, progressive follow-up is essential to understand how you are responding to treatment. For this reason, after the consultation you will have direct access to WhatsApp from your doctor, in order to clarify all your doubts.

We also send important reminders about appointments, sessions, and reviews so you can keep your treatment up to date.

Note: Return queries are not included in the initial consultation amount.

How does the reimbursement from insurance works?

If you already have an insurance healthcare plan and want to make an appointment with Yinflow.Life, know that it is possible to request reimbursement from your operator after using our services.

‍We ask that you read the information below carefully to facilitate your process of obtaining a refund:

‍
- Before scheduling your appointment on our platform, contact your health insurance to understand how the reimbursement process works and what documents will be required by them.

- After your medical consultation at Yinflow.Life, request your receipt and invoice from the professional who treated you. Don't worry, our health professionals issue a receipt and invoice, mandatory documents that are normally required in the reimbursement process from health care providers in Brazil.

- In addition, some health plans have requested the number of the CNES (National Register of Health Establishments) to proceed with reimbursement. If your health provider makes this requirement, it is important to stress that, according to the ANS - National Supplementary Health Agency, operators cannot require that the health professional be registered with the CNES for reimbursement, as described in this publication here. However, even if it is not mandatory, Yinflow.Life still strives to ensure that all our contracted professionals already have this registration, in order to facilitate your reimbursement process.

Does Yinflow.Life also have therapy sessions?

Yes. We recommend that you go beyond the symptoms by also treating the possible root causes of your condition with a therapist.

How does digital prescriptions work?

A digital prescription is a legal, convenient and secure way for doctors to prescribe a prescription online for all of Brazil. Since the publication of Law 13,732/2018, digital prescriptions have become valid throughout the national territory, regardless of the federal unit in which they were issued.

Understand how it works:

1 - The doctor issues the prescription through our platform, with a digital signature to guarantee its authenticity.
2 - The recipe is sent to you by email and through the Yinflow.life app, containing a QR Code or authentication code.
3 - You present the digital prescription at the pharmacy or online store and you will be able to receive your medication. 


NOTE: If you received a prescription for cannabis products, the digital prescription can and must be used to obtain authorization from ANVISA on the gov.br website as well. See the step by step to obtain authorization from ANVISA.



Attention: For prescription drugs with yellow (Prescription A) or blue prescription (Prescription B), the presentation of the physical copy at pharmacies is mandatory.

What if I need a physical copy of my prescription?

In some cases, to buy certain controlled-use medications, you will also need a physical prescription. This rule applies to medications that require the yellow Prescription (Prescription A) or the blue Prescription (Prescription B). That is, these 2 types of prescription require a physical route at the pharmacy so that you can purchase the medicines.

It is worth remembering that all our doctors are advised to send the physical copy if necessary, which will be done by post office and at no additional cost to you.

How do I reschedule an appointment/session via the scheduling status page?

To reschedule your session or appointment with Yinflow.Life, follow the steps below:

1. Access the email address that was used to register on the Yinflow.Life platform.
2. Find the confirmation email sent by Yinflow.Life.
3. Open this email and click on the link to access scheduling status page.
4. On the status page, select the option “Reschedule”.
5. Choose the desired day and time for the new schedule.
6. Fill in your details, enter the reason for the rescheduling and click “Reschedule”.
7. Confirm that the new schedule replaced the previous one and wait until the day of the appointment or session.

Important:
Make sure the rescheduling complies with our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

How to cancel an appointment/session via the booking status page?

To cancel your session or appointment with Yinflow.Life, follow the steps below:

1. Access the email address that was used to register on the Yinflow.Life platform.
2. Find the confirmation email sent by Yinflow.Life.
3. Open the email and click on the option “Cancel”.
4. Enter the reason for the cancellation and click “Cancel this event”.
5. Ready! Your cancellation will be successfully completed.

Can I cancel the consultation/session by deleting the event from Google Calendar?

No, deleting the event in Google Calendar doesn't cancel the appointment or session. To cancel correctly, go to the booking status page. The link to this page is available in the confirmation email you received when scheduling the consultation/session and on the Google Calendar's event's description.

Why aren't my appointments showing up on my Google calendar?

This could happen because of a Google privacy rule that prevents events from being automatically added to your calendar.

‍To ensure that your events are added correctly, follow the steps below:


1. Open the confirmation email for your appointment.
2. Click the “Add to calendar” button.
3. In the window that opens, click “Add to Google Calendar”.
4. Make sure you're signed in to the correct Google account.
5. Click “Save” to add the event to your calendar.
6. Be sure to tap the “Yes” button if prompted to confirm the addition.

4. If You Are a Patient (Non-Health Professional User Using Our Platform)

4.1. If you are a patient, or a user of our platform seeking information from a health professional to schedule medical appointments and therapy sessions, we inform you that the purposes of treatment and use of your data are specified in our Privacy Policy.

4.2. When you schedule a medical appointment or consultation session on our platform, your personal data is processed and shared as specified in our Privacy Policy.

4.3. When using our platform, you will be subject to the terms specified in our Privacy Policy during scheduling and participation in appointments. When using direct communication channels with health professionals, such as e-mail, WhatsApp and their phone/cell phone, the privacy of these data will be based on the health professional's privacy policy.

5.1. You may have the right to post comments and testimonials about your experiences as a user of the services on our site and you have all the licenses and consents to do so. 2.3. The use of our services can take place through our website or mobile application. Our services allow: scheduling an appointment with specialists, evaluating your experience, verifying the history of your visits, and managing your user account. From your user account on the mobile app, you can manage push notifications and other system notifications.

2.4. The data will be stored on our platform and transferred to the health professional and/or the clinic that employs the specialist. Once your personal data is transferred to the health professional or establishment, the latter becomes, in accordance with the legislation, a data controller who will process your personal data for their own purposes.

3. Data Sharing

3.1. We may share your personal data with other companies that operate data for Yinflow.Life under contractually established privacy protection clauses, solely for the purpose of providing services to you. However, we don't share or sell your SMS opt-in option or your phone number for SMS purposes.

  • External advisors, auditors, or advisors
  • Health insurance companies and operators, payment service providers, banks, credit reference and fraud prevention agencies, and insurance companies

4.3. Some of our providers (data operators) are based outside Brazil, however, in order to transfer your personal data to third countries, we always guarantee that these transfers meet the security requirements of the Personal Data Protection (LGPD), Law No. 13,709, of 14/08/2018.

9. How to Delete My Data

9.1. Here, you can better understand how to exercise your rights under the General Personal Data Protection Act (LGPD) and the condition for the portability of patient records.

9.2. The user may have access to their data and request their rectification by means of a formal request made from the email associated with the data in question to the email address dpo@yinflow.life.

9.3. Through the YINFLOW service channel, the USER may also request: (i) the limitation of the use of their personal data; (ii) express their opposition to the use of their personal data; or (iii) request the elimination of their personal data collected by YINFLOW, provided that any contractual relationship between the USER and YINFLOW has ended, that there is no purpose of use that would legitimate the treatment and that the minimum legal period related to the retention of the data has elapsed.

9.4. In view of the role of Operator that Yinflow.Life plays in relation to patient data, the portability of medical record data must be requested by the patient himself from the health professional who treats him or the clinic where he performs health treatment, responsible for storing the data from the medical records.

9.5. Yinflow.Life processes personal data in accordance with the best information security practices and, in particular, stores them in the Amazon Web Services cloud, which applies the most advanced information security techniques available on the market, and is certified in compliance with all security requirements determined by ISO 27018, the code of international best practices for the protection of personal data in the cloud and others. 9.6. Yinflow.Life itself also applies technical and administrative measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access and from accidental or illegal situations of destruction, loss, alteration, communication or dissemination, taking into account the structure, scale and volume of its operations, as well as the sensitivity of the data processed and the probability and severity of the damages for the data subjects. Among these measures, the use of SALT techniques, CAPTCHAs for password coding, backup, anonymization, data segregation, and control of access to data based on the need and permission granted by the USER stands out.

Yinflow.Life reserves the right to change the content of this Privacy Policy at any time, depending on the purpose or need, such as for the adaptation and legal compliance of a provision of law or regulation that has equivalent legal force, and it is up to the USER to verify it every time they access Yinflow.Life.

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

12.1. This document will be governed and interpreted according to Brazilian law, in the Portuguese language, and the registered office of the City of São Paulo will be elected with respect to the data and Application of the LGPD and the jurisdiction of the Capital district to settle any dispute or controversy involving this document, unless specifically provided for personal, territorial or functional competence by applicable law.

12.2. The user is aware that services provided outside Brazilian territory will have their jurisdiction and application of laws, the jurisdiction of the country of purchase or provision of services that will be contracted outside Brazilian jurisdiction.

12.3. Except in cases where otherwise indicated, the foreign company YINFLOW LLC, a partner of YINFLOW LTDA, holds intellectual property rights to all proprietary material posted on Yinflow.Life tools and applications, operated by YINFLOW LTDA and partner health professionals, as it holds all intellectual property rights reserved in accordance with the law.

1. Cancellation and Refund Policy

All medical appointments or therapy sessions can be canceled at any time - as long as before the scheduled time - following the rules below:

In case of cancellation up to 7 calendar days from the date of purchase and at least 12 hours in advance after scheduling, it is possible to request a full refund or rescheduling, with the exception of emergency appointments. In this type of service, there is no refund or right to reschedule in case of late cancellation (less than 2 hours before the scheduled time) or no-show.
  • In case of rescheduling, the same must be done at least 2 hours in advance of the scheduled date. Otherwise, it will be considered a no-show, subject to the terms of item 2.
  • Consultations that have already been rescheduled at least once cannot be rescheduled again, only canceled following the rules in this section.
In case of cancellation of a doctor's appointment after 7 calendar days from the date of purchase refunds are not allowed, only rescheduling.
  • In case of rescheduling, the same must be done at least 2 hours in advance of the scheduled date. Otherwise, it will be considered a no-show, subject to the terms of item 2.

Emergency medical appointments are not eligible for reimbursement or rescheduling.

2. No-Show or Rescheduling/Late Cancellation Policies

For Patients
In the event of a no-show or late rescheduling/cancellation (less than 2 hours in advance) by the patient, the patient will lose the right to a refund. Rescheduling, on the other hand, will only be allowed upon payment of a no-show fee, equivalent to 50% of the amount paid at the consultation.
For Health Professionals
In the event of a no-show or rescheduling/cancellation by the health professional, the patient may choose one of the options below:
  • Reschedule the appointment at no additional cost;
  • Cancel the appointment and get a full refund of the amount paid.

3. Rescheduling by the Health Professional

Our healthcare professionals are unable to reschedule appointments or therapy sessions. In this case, they are told to cancel events.

4. Delay Policies

For Patients
If, for any reason, the patient is late for the doctor's appointment or therapy session, the policy to be followed will be:
  • Delays of up to 15 minutes: The consultation or session may be held, with respect for the remaining time of the consultation or session. There will be no extension of time.
  • Delays of more than 15 minutes: It will be considered a no-show, and the no-show policies are applied (see item 2).
For Health Professionals
If, for any reason, the health professional is late for the doctor's appointment or therapy session, the policy to be followed will be:
  • Delays of up to 15 minutes: The consultation or session may be held, with respect for the remaining time of the consultation or session. If necessary, the appointment can be rescheduled at no additional cost to the patient.
  • Delays of more than 15 minutes: The patient may choose to reschedule the appointment at no additional cost or cancel the appointment with a full refund of the amount paid.

5. Cancellation of a Long-Term Plan

Yinflow.Life's personalized therapy plans offer exclusive benefits, including discounts proportional to the length and frequency of the sessions chosen. These discounts aim to make therapeutic accompaniment more affordable and reward commitment to the plan.
We recommend that you consult the copy of the contract sent to the email used to register the Yinflow.life platform, where all the details about the cancellation conditions and calculation of the fine are described. 6. Emergencies and Exceptions

We recognize that there are exceptional circumstances that may prevent compliance with these policies. In these situations, the right to a refund in the event of a no-show will be maintained in the event of any of the following exceptions:
  • Technical Problems: Failures in the telehealth software or connection/equipment problems on the part of the health professional that make it impossible to carry out the consultation.
  • Natural Disasters: Events that significantly affect local infrastructure, making it impossible to access telehealth.
  • Acute Health Problems: Emergency situations or sudden worsening of health that prevent attendance at the appointment.
  • Death or Serious Illness in the Family: Situations that require immediate patient attention outside the consultation.

7. Dissatisfaction with the Service Provided

The satisfaction of our patients is a fundamental priority. If for any reason there is dissatisfaction with the service received, we are here to listen to you and find a fair solution. Our team will carefully review your case and determine if there is justification for a refund and/or rescheduling, as well as the conditions under which these could be granted.

Patient Services Agreement

Este Patient Services Contract Term (“Terms”) establishes the conditions for the use of the YINFLOW.LIFE platform, operated by YINFLOW LLC, a company domiciled abroad, registered with the CNPJ 53.391.012/0001-50, and YINFLOW LTDA, a Brazilian company, registered with the CNPJ under number 42.516.954/0001-00 and registered with the Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) under number XXXX hereinafter jointly referred to as “YINFLOW.LIFE HEALTH PROFESSIONALS”, for the contracting of telehealth services of partner health professionals (” DE”) by patients (“PATIENT”).

IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. BY SELECTING “I HAVE READ AND AGREE”, YOU ACCEPT ALL OF THE TERMS DESCRIBED HERE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THE YINFLOW.LIFE PLATFORM OR CONTRACT TELEHEALTH SERVICES FROM HEALTH PROFESSIONALS.

1. From the Premises of This Contract

1.1. YINFLOW.LIFE is a platform whose purpose is to connect you, the patient, with health professionals in order to facilitate the provision of health care services in treatments that may be comprehensive, possibly acting from symptom to cause in health conditions that may include but are not limited to anxiety, burnout, chronic stress, chronic pain; ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and insomnia. On our platform, you can find a list of health professionals selected based on rigorous criteria and guided by the practices of humanization in health, medicine based on modern and updated evidence. With these health professionals, the patient is able to schedule and carry out appointments or therapy sessions and receive clinical follow-up. In addition, we have a reception team capable of helping patients navigate the platform and obtain advice on the import of medicines and cannabidiol-based products, if prescribed by a physician responsible for the patient, whether associated with the platform or not.
1.2. This contract term for products and services is in line with our Terms of Use (https://yinflow.life/#termos-de-uso), our Privacy Policy (https://yinflow.life/#politica-de-privacidade) and Code of Ethics (https://.yinflow.life/codigo-de-etica), and was prepared in accordance with Federal Law No. 12,965, of April 23, 2014 (Internet Civil Framework), and with Federal Law No. 13,709, of August 14, 2018 (Personal Data Protection Act). YINFLOW LTDA, a participant in YINFLOW.LIFE, is the company that holds and processes your data, and is therefore the party responsible for the privacy of these data and is committed, together with the other YINFLOW.LIFE participants, to the permanent maintenance of the protection of the fundamental right to privacy and appropriate use of the data preserved in its technological environment.
1.3. YINFLOW.LIFE guarantees that it is committed to the fairness of our services and the protection of your data. YINFLOW LTDA has technology for processing, maintaining and storing health data, in accordance with Federal Law No. 12,965 of April 23, 2014 (Civil Framework of the Internet), with Federal Law No. 13,709, of August 14, 2018, LGPD (General Personal Data Protection Law), good practices and resolutions established by the health councils covered by YINFLOW.LIFE. For further clarification on how we use and process your data, we strongly recommend that you take a few minutes to read our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Code of Ethics mentioned above.
1.4. YINFLOW.LIFE services, provided exclusively via the internet, include:
  • Combined office and administrative support services;
  • Intermediation and brokerage activities for services and businesses in general, except real estate;
  • Development and licensing of non-customizable computer programs; Preparation of documents and specialized administrative support services not specified above;
  • Teleservice activities;
  • Development of custom computer programs; Development and licensing of customizable computer programs;
  • Data processing, application service providers and Internet hosting services;
  • Internet portals, content providers and other information services;
  • Professional and management development training.
1.5. The intermediation of services, mentioned in item 1.5.2, now contracted, will include the use of digital information, communication and data processing technology aimed at performing the following final services by health professionals, in isolation or in combination, according to the needs of the patients treated by the CONTRACTED PARTY:
  • Medical Consultations (Regular or Emergency).
  • Occupational Therapy Sessions.
  • Psychotherapy sessions.
Therefore, the medical service itself, remote or face-to-face, is an exclusive provision of the health professional intermediated by the YINFLOW.LIFE platform. Thus, the issuance of invoices relating to medical services will be carried out by the CNPJ of the health professional responsible for the care.
1.6 The services may be paid by payment methods such as: credit card, Pix and bank slip, and will be processed by a payment processing company contracted by the same and duly able to provide a secure environment for the processing of sensitive financial data, such as credit card number, expiration date and security code, which YINFLOW.LIFE does not access and does not store.
1.7. In case of questions, suggestions and complaints, users may contact YINFLOW.LIFE at the e-mail falecom@yinflow.life, where the emails will be answered as soon as possible.

2. Of the General Provisions

2.1. The fundamental rights provided for in Brazilian law for care using digital technologies will be observed and respected with due zeal by all those involved in the provision of services: employees, suppliers, health professionals, and others.
2.2.1 The fundamental rights mentioned above include the right to:
  • Compliance with the usual regulatory and ethical standards of face-to-face service.
  • Autonomy of the health professional;
  • Free and informed consent of the patient;
  • Refuse telehealth care, considering that
    Face-to-face medical consultation remains the gold standard, a reference in patient care, with the guarantee of face-to-face care whenever requested. In this case, the patient should not hire YINFLOW.LIFE and should seek face-to-face medical care, since telemedicine does not replace face-to-face care.
  • Dignity and appreciation of the health professional;
  • Safe and quality patient care;
  • Data confidentiality;
  • Promoting the universalization of Brazilians' access to health actions and services;
  • Strict observance of the legal attributions of each profession;
  • Legal liability of the data controller in accordance with the General Data Protection Act (LGPD).
2.2 CONTRACTORS “expressly consent” to the receipt of documents, related to their own health, produced during service on our platform. These documents may include:
  • Medical reports.
  • Electronic prescriptions
  • Attestations
  • Teleservice activities;
  • Exam requests
  • Reports and others.
They will be sent by YINFLOW LTDA to the email address provided when you registered at the time of booking or merely registering with one of the technologies added to YINFLOW.LIFE. Access to the e-mail box provided upon registration must be for the private and exclusive use of the patient or their legal guardian, due to the potentially sensitive nature of the data that may be sent.
2.3. The documents mentioned in item 2.2 will contain the following data:
  • Identification of the health professional:
  • Compliance with the usual regulatory and ethical standards of face-to-face service.
  • Full name.
  • Registration with the regional professional council
  • Address
  • Specialist Qualification Record (RQE), in case of connection with a specialty or area of expertise;
  • Professional's digital signature.
  • Patient identification:
  • Full name
  • Date and time;

3. Our Services

In addition to being a right of all Brazilian consumers, it is our duty, according to our code of ethics, to provide all information on all our products and services, which will be described in detail below, except for their values, which may vary and must be consulted at the time of hiring on the respective service page.

3.1. Medical Consultation Service

An online consultation with an experienced doctor that will include mental health and/or chronic pain, generously lasting up to 50 minutes.
Key attributes:
  • Online in a secure environment appropriate to the LGPD.
  • Duration of up to 50 minutes.
  • Choose from selected professionals oriented to humanization.
Not included:
  • Return enquiry.
  • In-person consultation.

3.2. Emergency Medical Consultation Service

An online consultation for urgent mental health and chronic pain situations, with appointments within 48 hours, depending on availability. Ideal for patients who need assistance as soon as possible and do not want to choose the professional.
Key attributes:
  • Online in a secure environment appropriate to the LGPD.
  • Duration of up to 50 minutes.
  • Assistance with the doctor on duty, with appointments within 48 hours.
Not included:
  • Professional choice.

3.3. Subscription Psychotherapy Service

Online psychotherapy service that may involve the use of the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach, depending on the therapist's discretion. Different monthly subscription plans are available to better meet the health professional's recommendation and patient conditions.
Key attributes:
  • Subscription plans with 1 biweekly session, 1 session per week or 2 sessions per week, with the possibility of changing therapy service modalities within the same plan.
  • Cancellation with full refund within 7 days of purchase starting before the second session, according to the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
  • Optional use of exclusive therapeutic tools.
Not included:
  • Cumulative factor for non-use: If the subscriber is unable to attend a session within the month, it will not be carried over to the next one. However, they may reschedule sessions at any time, as long as they are within the corresponding month, in accordance with the current Refund and Cancellation Policy, available at https://yinflow.life/#politica-de-cancelamento-e-reembolso.

3.4. Subscription Occupational Therapy Service

Online occupational therapy services that may involve the use of exclusive approaches for the preparation of a life plan and routine, depending on the therapist's discretion. Different monthly subscription plans are available to better meet the recommendation of the health professional and the patient's conditions.
Key attributes:
  • Subscription plans with 1 biweekly session, 1 session per week or 2 sessions per week, with the possibility of changing therapy service modalities within the same plan.
  • Cancellation with full refund within 7 days of purchase starting before the second session, according to the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
  • Optional use of exclusive therapeutic tools.
Not included:
Cumulative factor for non-use: If the subscriber is unable to attend a session within the month, it will not be carried over to the next one. 3.5 Cannabis Product Import Concierge Service

A specialized assistance service for importing cannabis-based products, according to a medical prescription, aimed at importing them in a more easy, regular and cost-effective manner with regard to the price of the prescribed product and shipping.
Key attributes:
  • Specialized assistance in importing cannabis-based products, if prescribed, via chat.
  • Service provided by professionals oriented to reception and humanized treatment.
  • Assistance only for patients with a doctor's prescription.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1. Cancellations and other events that generate cancellations, such as reschedules, no-shows and other adverse events that may generate refundable situations, will be treated in accordance with our Cancellation and Refund Policy available at: https://yinflow.life/#politica-de-cancelamento-e-reembolso.

5. Term

The term of this contract will be effective from the date of signature and for an indefinite period. If there is no interest in continuing to provide the service, it must be communicated via email to the address falecom@yinflow.life, a distraction request at least 30 (thirty) days in advance.

6. From the Forum

The parties choose the jurisdiction of the São Paulo Capital Circumscription to resolve any doubts arising from this contract, expressly renouncing any other, however privileged.
